As
**Team Lead - Flex Operations & Markets**, you are responsible for leading a team of skilled Flexible Demand real time operations experts & analysts to:
1. Aggregate and operate all behind the meter resources for Shell Energy’s C&I customers to dispatch for market benefits, network services and customer savings to realise our MW and gross margin targets;
2. Support with operationalising 6 flexible demand solutions and participation across 5 markets. This includes defining business processes and leading the prioritisation and development of internal systems and tools to operate at scale; and

3. Establish visibility of asset availability at a portfolio level and create near-real time capability to report on resource performance.

With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

- Aggregate asset availability - work with the Flex Systems & Trading teams to develop the approach to seeing real time MW availability before, during and after Flex events;
- Aggregate asset cap capture - work with the DTS team to develop the approach to seeing MW performance from Flex events;
- Asset availability - work with Asset Management team to identify and resolve asset availability issues. Ensure there is a feedback loop from event performance to asset availability / case management;
- New solution pilot development - work with Head of Flex to identify end-to-end requirements for delivering customer pilot projects for new solutions;
- New solution scale-up development - lead the definition of requirements for scale-up of deployment of new solutions once validated through a customer pilot project;
- New market & network services participation development - work with Head of Flex and Flex Systems Lead to identify end-to-end requirements for delivering customer pilot projects for new forms of market and network services participation;
- New market & network services participation scale-up - lead the definition of requirements for scale-up of deployment of new market and network services once validated through a customer pilot project; and
- DTS product owner (Raichu squad) - set tool & system development priorities for the Energy Solutions (ESOL) Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) squad taking account of needs from other parts of ESOL.

**What you’ll bring**

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

- A detailed understanding of distributed energy resources and distributed energy markets in Australia;
- Proven capability to map, plan and project manage end-to-end portfolio and product developments;
- A high level of expertise in Microsoft Excel tool delivery;
- Background in engineering, mathematics or data science beneficial;
- Excellent communications skills for conducting stakeholder consultations;
- Excellent time management and organisation skills;
- Clear, professional and articulate communication;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- High levels of initiative; and
- Effective team player.
