Our long term client, WesTrac is a leading Cat equipment provider to the construction, mining and agricultural industries in WA. We have lots of veterans we've placed into this fantastic organisation.

**About the role**:
WesTrac is looking for a knowledgeable Pre-Trade Trainer to join their L&D team at South Guildford, WA.

**Hours: Monday to Friday 0700-1530, no site work or overtime/weekend work.**

A hands-on and fulfilling role, the Pre-Trade Technical Trainer is accountable for consistently developing, delivering and assessing
apprentice training in accordance with required standards and WesTrac’s Core Values. You will be providing high levels of
customer service for both internal and external clients, managing the administrative functions of training, assessing and reporting
whilst maintaining compliance in line with RTO requirements.

It is essential that you hold a Trade qualification in the scope of either Auto-Electrical, Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicle.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 is desirable and will be highly regarded, however is not essential as WesTrac can support you in achieving this.

**About you**:
Trade qualification in either Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant or Auto-Electrical Technologies
Experienced technician who is ready to move on to a mentoring Trainer role
Passion for learning and committed developing individuals to realise their potential.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
Basic Microsoft Suite skills
Caterpillar equipment exposure and knowledge desirable
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 will be highly regarded
You'd need to enjoy working in a team and mentoring junior tradies

**Salary info**:
Base salary starts at $105k + with increases and some variations depending on qualifications etc. Please reach out to discuss this in more detail.
