**About the Opportunity**

We are looking for energetic and dynamic individuals to join our corporate functions team in the role of Event Supervisor. It is a dynamic role where two days are never the same, including approximately 30% office administration and 70% hands-on functions and set-up. Flexibility of hours is key with some days starting before 7:00 am and the possibility of other days finishing after midnight. You will hold a key position in the corporate team on match days and be able to “jump in” where required.

**You would be responsible for**:

- Managing a team of casual staff on both set-up shifts and events
- Supervising a variety of events including running small events solo, managing banquet dining, canape, day delegate, and corporate boardrooms
- Supervising dining rooms on game days.

**To be successful in this casual position, you will**:

- Demonstrated corporate function and/or event management experience
- Share our passion and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience to our guests
- Always provide high-quality customer service
- Be reliable and well presented
- Be comfortable with banquet dining, 3-plate carry, and formal clearing, and willing to train staff to ensure a high level of service is always maintained
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and an enthusiasm to learn other programs if required
- Be physically fit and able to assist with furniture and stock movement when required
- Lead your team from the front, working actively on the floor when required
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be flexible in your job role and able to “jump in” and assist when required
- Hold a current Victorian RSA certificate
- Have flexible availability mid-week and including Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Be able to work long shifts, day, and night.
