**Description**:
**The Role**:
Ready to bring your passion for food and people together?
Cater Care is looking for a friendly, self-motivated, and team-oriented Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our valued aged care residences in Pittsworth. You'll play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents.
**Roster**: Monday to Sunday, varied hours (24 hours per week)
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
