**About the role**

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our fast-paced Packaging business, servicing our Brompton and Regency sites. This is a hands-on, challenging role, that will see you collaborating with our production teams, utilising your fault finding skills, and leveraging your maintenance experience to ensure our complex paper converting equipment is operating both safely and efficiently.

Our maintenance fitters are responsible for participating in and supporting preventative maintenance programs, routine adjustments, work order completion, troubleshooting, rectifying breakdowns to minimise downtime, and general workshop tooling and repairs, all in accordance with planned work schedules, mechanical standards, and site quality / safety processes.

**What you will bring to the team**
- A safety-first mindset and ability to lead by example when it comes to safety in the workplace.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in the FMCG industry (preferably with Packaging).
- Previously completed a Mechanical Trade Qualification (Cert III or above).
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including ability to read schematics.
- Knowledge of and commitment to maintenance planning techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose, analyse and rectify technical issues using data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a customer focused mindset.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across day, afternoon, and night shift, with weekend overtime if needed.
