**impact the well-being and mental health **of patients during what can be difficult times.

As well as directly interacting with a variety of patients, this charity also
**funds crucial research** into improving quality of life through
**creative and alternative** ways and delivers workshops to health professionals that can support the ongoing delivery of day-to-day programs for participants.

**The Role - Philanthropy Manager**

The Philanthropy Manager role is responsible for
**growing income** through Major Donors, Bequests and collaboration on Trusts and Grants

Reporting to, and working closely with, the Head of Marketing & Fundraising, this position is responsible for
**developing and delivering the Major Gifts and Bequest strategies** including managing annual income and expenditure budgets.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Major Gift fundraiser who wants to
**take on and build** a fairly new program and drive it to success. This role will have
**access to some of the best minds in the industry** in terms of major gift solicitation and has
**coaching and development** opportunities budgeted for the right person.

You will join a
**dynamic, ambitious, and caring team, and bring a great sense of humour.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prospecting, cultivating and delivering philanthropic support
- Relationship development
- Producing tailored proposals for high-net-worth individuals
- Strategy development and execution

**Who are you?**
- Demonstrated success in major gift fundraising
- Experience or knowledge of bequests marketing campaigns
- Proven ability to develop and manage positive, long-term relationships with existing and prospective donors, fundraisers and other key stakeholders
- Strong relationship, communication and negotiation skills
- High level of self-drive in a potentially remote environment
- Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Highly results and solutions focused
- Ability to meet timeframe and budgetary deadlines
- Commitment to best practice CRM usage
