**THE CHALLENGE**

As a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for inspections using our robotic crawler. You will perform inspection services for maintenance of industrial assets at our customer sites together with your colleague and translating the technical needs within the inspection team to help future state of the art developments within Invert Robotics. It is a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills broadly, and work with an ambitious scale-up

**THE ROLE**

Your main responsibility will be to perform robotic inspection services at client sites (mainly in Australia, but sometimes in other parts of the world). You are the eyes of the robot using remote control to inspect the surface of the inside of customers assets.

This includes the following key activities:

- Prepare the inspection, make sure the robot works, and all the paperwork is in order
- Act as a sparring partner for the maintenance crew on site, pointing out the cracks and ruptures discovered during the inspection
- If accompanied by a repair crew, instruct them were to find the defects that need to be repaired
- Writing a detailed inspection report for the customer
- Defining internal work processes and monitoring quality control and quality assurance
- Prepare and conduct trainings for other Inspection Technicians
- Cooperating with the R&D team on prototyping of new features/technologies
- Work closely together with the Sales Manager, the Sales Support Team in Australia/New Zealand, the R&D team and the other Inspection Technicians based throughout the Australasia

**YOUR PROFILE**

You value safety above anything else and are an entrepreneurial, self-starting team player, with a hands-on mentality. Next to that, you have:

- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, in a customer facing function in a production environment
- A NDT certification for VT (Visual Testing) and UT (Ultra-Sonic Testing) at level II or level III
- Proven field experience and a natural ability to identify challenges and risks and think on your feet to prevent or overcome them
- A drive to improve technology and like to bring new ideas and solutions to the table
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally if needed
- A valid car driving license and a valid safety certificate
