Aquatic Education Instructor

- Opportunity to work over two Banyule Leisure sites in Ivanhoe and Heidelberg West

We are currently seeking energetic individuals who are interested in becoming swimming instructors.

You will provide instruction and education in swimming, water safety and survival skills to participants in a variety of aquatic programs run at Banyule Leisure sites.

Available on weekdays, Monday to Friday and weekends, especially Thursday, 4:00 - 7:00 pm; Friday, 4 - 6:30 pm; Saturday, 8:00 - 12:15; Sunday, 8:00 - 12:45.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR (essential)
- Current AustSwim Qualifications (essential)
- Experience working within a Learn to Swim Program (desirable)
- A love of delivering high-quality, safe, and effective **Learn to Swim **and **Water Safety **Programs to children and adults.
- Supervise the classes to ensure the safety of all aquatic program participants.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation is required in dealings with participants, parents and residents.
