**Introduction**:
Regis Resources is an ASX publicly listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team with a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. It is a purely Australian gold miner with operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The mine site locations are in the WA Goldfields region with multiple mining operations (both open pit and underground) as well as a number of satellite pits. This is an opportunity to join a high performing operation, currently producing circa 400,000 oz. of gold per annum.

**Description**:
We are looking for a Plant Metallurgist to join our team at the Moolart Well mine. This position is responsible for the analysis and interpretation of metallurgical and operational data to facilitate optimal processing plant efficiency, and collaborating with operational teams to identify and troubleshoot process bottlenecks to ensure that forecasted production targets are consistently met. This is a FIFO role - 8:6 roster.

About the role

Monitor, review and report on plant performance and key process indicators to ensure they are within acceptable limits;
Report on and make recommendations for potential process improvement opportunities via analysis of operational information and process trends;
Working with operational teams to identify and troubleshoot process bottlenecks;
Assist with the execution and managing of continuous improvement projects;
Assist with the preparation of budgets, schedules and forecasts;
Assist the Senior Metallurgist with designing and implementing metallurgical test work programs and plant trials;
Daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical reporting;
Assistance with supervising and managing the onsite laboratory; and
Demonstrate safety leadership and engage with the Regis safety culture.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

A tertiary qualification in metallurgy, chemical engineering or related discipline;
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a mineral processing environment;
Exposure to milling, leaching, crushing and gravity concentration circuits would be highly desirable;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
Exposure to metallurgical accounting systems;
Good analytical, communication and report writing skills; and
Current manual drivers licence (mandatory).
