Duties include supporting our National Disability Insurance Scheme Participants to:
to live independently;
to engage and connect with their community; to realise their goals.

Disability support workers may be required to provide assistance

to participants diagnosed with mental illness;
to participants who have complex needs. These participants may have a

diagnosis of intellectual disability, physical disability and/or autism;
to with personal care which may include assistance with showering and

toileting;
to with domestic/household tasks; to meal preparation.

Disability support workers will be expected to

to have a current working with Children Check - blue card / yellow card if applicable;
to have or be prepared to obtain MAYBO training (Infinite Care Solutions Pty Ltd will pay for course)

to have or be prepared to obtain a First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate;
to hold a current driver licence;
to grow and learn about positive behaviour support and strength-based

approaches to supporting people with disabilities (training provided by

Infinite Care Solutions Pty Ltd);
to work a variety of hours: day shift, evening shift, night shift, sleepover shifts,

weekend shifts and public holiday shifts;
to be active and have a reasonable level of physical fitness;
to be committed to supporting our participants to thrive, grown and live a

fulfilling life.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $25.26 - $47.68 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toowoomba, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- MAYBO Training (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
