The **Future Generation Joint Venture** brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct **Snowy 2.0**. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

**Purpose of the Role**:

- Check the underground construction activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, and documented procedures, using all quality tools necessary to ensure that any identified nonconformance item or workmanship is documented and controlled**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- White Card

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferred
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
- Good understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements.
- Sound knowledge of construction materials and related specifications.
- Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.

**Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Undertake quality inspections on site and in subcontractors’ worksites to ensure conformity with the relevant ITPs and drawings.
- Collection of work Lots and Quality Records.
- Draft of Non-Conformances Reports (NCR).
- Verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed in the NCR.
- Defects management.
- Attend regular Quality and Construction meetings in his own area of responsibility.
- Review and consult with Site Operation Quality Coordinator on matters of surveillance and inspection, regarding subcontracted works.
- Communicate and resolve any construction quality issues proactively with relevant site supervisor.
- Any other duties as directed by the Site Operation Quality Coordinator and/or Construction Quality Control Lead.
- Comply with FGJV policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
