What’s on offer:
An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a Tender Administrator to join our Infrastructure business based in Campbelltown. Reporting to the Business and Development Manager and supporting the Tender Coordinator, this all-encompassing position will be supporting both estimating and submissions. You will play an important role within our Sales and Tendering team, with key clients throughout the New South Wales region. Your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the coordination, production and design (consistent with Fulton Hogan branding) of submissions, tender specific criteria and non-price documents as required.
- Quality assurance and proofing of all relevant tender submission documentation.
- Compliance with the tender documents with a thorough understanding of best practice and the Fulton Hogan way will be essential. Ensuring that we fulfill all quality, safety, environmental and sustainability requirements that form our tender response.
- On occasions you will be required to attend pre-tender meetings, and our various depots to maintain connectivity between operations and the estimating department.
- Liaising with the estimating, operational and managerial staff on all aspects of the submission. This may include, however will not be limited to uploading pricing, programming, capability, scope and resource requirements.
- Liaising with the commercial department for relevant contractual reviews.
- Maintaining databases including but not limited to commercial reviews and tender tracking.
How you’ll connect to the role:
- Strong administration experience, including working with MS Office and Adobe packages. Submissions administration experience advantageous.
- Ability to learn and utilise in-house computer systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and orally with strong attention to detail.
- An ability to create and maintain a good rapport with a diverse range of internal staff, clients, subcontractors and suppliers across the industry.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Outgoing personality who thrives in a busy team environment.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to learn and develop.
