**The Company**

Robert Half have partnered with our West Perth located Client in the hospitality industry to recruit a Payroll/HR Officer. If you are looking for an autonomous position with opportunity to upskill and develop your HR knowledge as well as your payroll knowledge - this is the role for you

**The Role**

Your fit within the role will depend on your proven understanding of payroll processing, as you are responsible for:

- Process the Fortnightly Payroll for up to 300 employees.
- Employment Contracts and Onboarding.
- Interpreting Hospitality Awards (RIA and HIGA).
- Payroll Reports (including Leave / Overtime/ Summaries).
- Excess Leave Liability Reporting & Management.
- Liaising with site managers and staff regarding pay related enquiries.
- Recruitment and HR Advising regarding Payroll/Employee compliance.

**Your Skills & Experience**
- Outstanding payroll experience spanning at least 2+ years.
- Experience with payroll systems and ability to adapt to new processes/systems.
- Proven ability to learn and interpret awards/EBAS.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Remarkable attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening).
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.

Your creative flair allows you to offer innovative suggestions to improve payroll processes, and you relish the challenge of learning new systems and upskilling.
