As a** Lead, CLS Regional and Agri **you will be responsible for leading a team to support bankers to deliver a superior customer service for all lending transactions. The Lead will be responsible for the leadership, development and capability uplift of Associates to support Bankers to deliver a superior customer service for all lending transactions.

The role is key to enable the B&PB business performance and growth by creating a customer focused service excellence culture, supporting bankers in meeting customer needs and driving an effective and efficient operations. You will Lead a team of Associates dedicated to delivering a high level of service excellence.

**Your key accountabilities will include**:

- Run an effective and efficient customer focused lending services team with operational excellence disciplines
- Proactive daily monitoring of workforce and queues to ensure optimised flow
- Support functions cost and service performance targets
- Continued capability uplift of team
- Continuous improvement focus
- Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).
- Lead, coach and motivate team to achieve business and personal goals

**What you will bring**
- Previous significant experience in Business banking (preferred)
- Proven financial analysis capability
- Understanding of policy and verification requirements
- Knowledge and experience of lending processes and credit experience.
- Consumer, Business and/or Commercial lending experience
- Emerging leadership capability
- Strong customer service skills coupled with excellent written and communication skills
- Proactive attitude
