**Clinical Educator - Orygen Clinical Training Team**

**Your new team**:

- Orygen Specialist Programs (OSP), a program of Melbourne Health, provides specialist mental health services for young people aged 15 to 25 and focuses on providing early intervention to young people with severe and complex mental illness.
- Orygen clinical training (OCT) team is a sub-program of Orygen Specialist Programs (OSP), comprising an enthusiastic multidisciplinary group of clinicians dedicated to building the Youth Mental Health workforce across Victoria. The recent Royal Commission findings are prompting change and innovation across the sector, and OCT provide training in best practice models of early intervention for severe mental health difficulties in youth.

**Your new role**:

- A Clinical Educator working with Orygen Clinical Training will contribute through some or all of the following activities:

- Bring knowledge and clinical experience from Orygen’s specialist clinical streams to the role of Clinical Educator;
- Plan, develop and deliver training, communities of practice and clinical consultation to the Youth Mental Health workforce; and,
- Leading or supporting the development of related evidence-based clinical resources and services, such as training programs, factsheets, manuals and online learning modules;
- Provide consulting services to support Youth Mental Health service innovation and development, such as site visits, mentoring, advocacy, needs analysis, reviews, audits, reports and recommendations, with direction and support from senior Orygen Clinical Training and Orygen Specialist Clinical Services staff.

**About you**:

- Relevant registration and qualifications
- Comprehensive experience delivering mental health services to young people and their families with a wide range of difficulties.
- Considerable experience supervising mental health clinicians and taking a senior role in managing a multidisciplinary team.
- Experienced in developing and delivering teaching and professional development activities, preferably experience consulting and delivering training in the CAT relational model
