**About Us**:
We are a dynamic, customer-focused company seeking a reliable and motivated **General Warehouse Worker** to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and storing stock, picking and packing orders, booking freight, and maintaining showroom presentation. You’ll also assist with customer service and contribute to warehouse safety and stock control. We’re a tight-knit team that values flexibility, collaboration, and a can-do attitude—everyone pitches in to keep things running smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Receiving & Stock Management**: Receive and check inwards goods, ensuring accurate quantities and product quality. Safely break down boxes and organize products into designated bin or showroom locations.
- **Order Picking & Packing**: Pick and pack customer orders with attention to detail, preparing items for shipping or in-store pickup.
- **Freight Coordination**: Book and coordinate dispatches with freight providers (e.g., StarTrack, Civic, Uber), ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- **Product Storage & Merchandising**: Accurately store stock in the warehouse and showroom, maintaining clear labeling and logical bin placement. Replenish and merchandise showroom stock regularly to ensure shelves are well-presented and fully stocked.
- **Warehouse Equipment Use**: Operate a walker stacker forklift to move and organize stock (forklift license preferred but not essential).
- **Stock Control & Audits**: Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain alignment between physical stock and POS software. Routinely perform WHS safety audits to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- **Customer Service**: Assist customers at the counter, provide product information, and process sales as needed. Handle phone inquiries and warmly engage walk-in customers when sales staff are busy.
- **Supplier Communication**: Liaise with suppliers regarding order timeframes, stock updates, and delivery confirmations.
- **Team Collaboration**: Be flexible and proactive in supporting day-to-day warehouse and showroom tasks. We value a team-first mindset where everyone contributes to smooth operations.
- **Warehouse Tidiness**: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A team player with a can-do attitude, who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes safely.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
