**The Company**

Located in Dandenong, our client is a chemical manufacturer with a social, warm office environment. With a small team of 18, fit in right away with their relaxed atmosphere, regular socials, and wealth of training. They are famous for their longevity, with most staff remaining for 5+ years This role is perfect for an internal bookkeeper looking for a part time position.

You would be responsible for invoicing, payments, some accounts receivable, data entry, foreign transactions with your main focus on accounts payable. This role will begin with 2 days per week with hybrid flexibility, looking to move to 3 days in the future but will remain in a part time capacity. Hours are very flexible, with an amazing team and supportive management to work with.

**The Opportunity**

In this role you will be joining a supportive and collaborative team. Your key responsibilities will include:

- accounts payable and receivable.
- calculation of leave accruals, prepare and review payroll.
- superannuation payments, payroll tax, WorkCover, calculations for terminations etc.
- account reconciliation.
- liaising with external accountants and auditors.
- review outstanding debtors and repot to managements, receipt of fund and reconciliation of debtors.
- preparation and lodgement of BAS statements.
