We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Harvest Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of our harvest and farm operations.

**Job Summary**: The Harvest Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the harvest team activities to ensure the efficient and timely harvest of crops, planting of seedlings and general farm maintainance. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of agricultural practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Harvest Manager will work closely with farm staff, farm manager, and site manager to achieve optimal harvest outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Harvest Planning**: Ensuring harvest crates and equipment is clean and prepped for the next day's harvest.
- **Team Management**: Supervise and lead a team of farm workers, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor crop quality during harvest and implement measures to ensure produce meets customer expectations.
- **Equipment Management**: Oversee the maintenance and operation of harvest equipment, ensuring all machinery is in good working condition.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all harvest activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- **Data Management**: Maintain accurate records of harvest activities, including yield, KPIs, and location of harvest.
- **Problem Solving**: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the harvest process, such as equipment malfunctions, order changes or staff related issues.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in harvest management or a similar role in the agricultural industry.
- **Skills**: Forklift licence, Car licence and ability to operate a tractor are beneficial

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work long hours during peak harvest season in hot and humid Greenhouse conditions.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
