We are looking for someone who has been a wait staff for a few years. Motivation, good attitude and enthusiasm is all we ask for.

Working as café floor staff involves a variety of responsibilities, all centered around providing a great experience for customers. Here’s a breakdown of what the role typically includes:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greeting customers as they enter.
- Taking orders and answering questions about the menu.
- Providing recommendations and handling special requests.
- Ensuring a friendly and efficient service experience.
- **Order Management**:

- Inputting orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Communicating with the kitchen and baristas to ensure timely preparation.
- Delivering food and beverages to tables or to-go customers.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Keeping tables, chairs, and floors clean and tidy.
- Clearing and cleaning tables promptly after customers leave.
- Ensuring the café’s overall cleanliness and organization.
- **Handling Payments**:

- Processing transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Managing cash and card payments.
- Issuing receipts and handling refunds if necessary.
- **Stock Management**:

- Monitoring stock levels of supplies and informing the manager when items are low.
- Assisting with restocking items as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Working closely with kitchen staff, baristas, and other floor staff.
- Communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Following health and safety guidelines, including food handling procedures.
- Ensuring the café meets hygiene standards.
- **Problem-Solving**:

- Addressing any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Finding solutions to any operational hiccups that arise.

This role is all about multitasking and maintaining a positive attitude, even during busy times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
