**Position Information**:
Point Clare Public School, current enrolment 487 students including 17 Aboriginal students and 63 EAL/D students, is situated on the western side of Brisbane Water and serves the communities of Point Clare, Koolewong, Tascott and part of West Gosford. The school community’s vision for Point Clare Public School is to provide an inspiring and nurturing environment that encourages and values students achieving to their full potential in an inclusive school community. This vision is currently underpinned by a whole school Visible Learning - School Impact Program and the Positive Behaviour 4 Learning program. The school is dynamic, personalised and connected in a purposeful way that reflects 21st Century pedagogy and includes several flexible learning spaces. Point Clare Public School is an active member of both the Gosford City Learning Community and the Cooinda AECG.
**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (primary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (primary) in regular classes, with the capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.
Experience in the delivery of learning and support programs and processes for K-6, using expert data analysis, to facilitate tiered intervention.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum and formulate individualised support plans, with flexible classroom management strategies, to optimise learning outcomes for all students.
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and collaboration skills, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to ensure equity of access to education for students with differing abilities.
Demonstrated expertise in the formulation of Access Requests and the effective use of Integration Support Funding.
