**Description**:
In this role you will be preparing and maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet as well when required assisting in the safe loading & unloading of the fleet.

You will also be responsible for performing yard and general housekeeping duties.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Clean and prepare fleet & equipment ready for hire
- Assist with basic maintenance of non high-risk fleet & equipment
- Undertake yard and general housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean and well organised work environment
- Load and unload fleet from vehicles, always ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures are adhered to
- Inspect fleet upon return and immediately report any customer fleet damage to your manager to allow costs to be captured / recouped
- Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed and submitted
- Assist in maintaining effective stock control of fleet including assisting in stocktakes and the asset disposal process

- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Safety focused with an ability and desire to promote, influence and drive a positive safety culture
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to load and unload equipment from vehicles
- Aptitude for hands-on, mechanical / maintenance tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliability, self-motivation and willingness to work
- The ability to perform physical work
