Join City of Moreton Bay as a Field Validation and Technical Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Field Validation and Technical Officer you will be focused on reviewing, collecting and updating asset management data (including the confirmation of “As Constructed” information), undertaking condition analysis, and recording defects and compliance information across Council's varied asset types. You'll also be:

- Working on data improvement activities using Council’s asset management system TechOne and GIS.
- Preparing, updating and maintaining scripts using Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) for field surveying and spatial asset capture
- Participating in data maturity assessments to implement the data maturity roadmap for effective asset management practices.
- Contributing to implementing Asset Design and As Constructed (ADAC) future revisions.

**About you**

We're looking for your experienced and knowledge of asset management systems, practices and processes, experience, great MS Office skills and experience with Asset Management data collection and analysis systems, as well as experience completing field inspections using GNSS equipment to collect, manipulate, extract and update strategic asset management data. You will also bring:

- FME and python scripting experience is desirable or demonstrated ability to learn
- Certificate IV in Surveying or equivalent or demonstrated relevant experience
- Current C class driver’s licence (required).
