Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with over 1,700 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.

We are currently seeking to appoint a **School Accompanist and Piano Tutor** at our Pakenham Campus to accompany a variety of solo instrumentalists, choirs and ensembles, and to also provide piano tutoring for students participating in our instrumental music program.

Chairo instrumental music tutors are also expected to foster a safe and caring learning environment for students while endeavouring to role model the love of Jesus Christ to all. Some other responsibilities will include:

- Teaching private students to prepare and present for recitals, competitions, eisteddfods, master classes, AMEB exams and VCE exams
- Accompanying ensembles and instrumental students from beginner to advanced levels
- Assisting at concerts, recitals, workshops and music camps as requested
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Ability to provide a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their teaching practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
- Ability to offer flexible teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create a charismatic and enjoyable teaching environment for students
