**Responsibilities of the Role**:
**_ Education and Employability_**
- Lead and collaborate with teaching teams to create innovative, accessible, and inclusive educational materials.
- Design and assess units, providing clear criteria and constructive feedback to support student learning and engagement.
- Foster educational excellence through mentorship, support for junior colleagues, and implementation of research-informed teaching practices.

Research and Innovation_**
- Conduct impactful research, building a strong national reputation in the field through high-quality, publishable work.
- Mentor students and support their professional development, focusing on high-quality, timely research outcomes.
**_ University Citizenship and Engagement_**
- Support and implement community and university-wide engagement initiatives, contributing to a positive university culture and strategic objectives.
**To be successful, you’ll have**:
- Completion, near completion, or enrolment for a doctoral qualification in the field of public health or a relevant field, or an equivalent accreditation and standing
- Record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design
- Developing a profile in research and scholarship through publications and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
- Ability to contribute to communities through research and teaching.
- Capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
- Membership in professional bodies such as the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) is preferred but not essential.
