Preparation/Service Duties:

- Ensure kitchenhand sections are set up and ready for each service period, all equipment must be present
- Clean all dirty equipment, cutlery and crockery during service periods and ensure everything is returned to where it belongs
- Keep kitchenhand sections clean, tidy, hygienic, and efficient at all times - Keep all kitchen floors swept throughout the day
- Empty all kitchen garbage bins as required
- Keep dock and waste area clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure garbage bins are ready for collection at the end of the night
- Liaise with Senior Chefs regarding kitchenhand sections before finishing shift and ensure handover is complete Cleaning/General Duties
- Ensure required kitchen areas are clean and well maintained at all times throughout the day
- Ensure correct storage, labelling and rotation of deliveries and stock is upheld at all times throughout the day
- Liaise with Senior Chefs regarding the kitchen cleaning checklist. Ensure all stoves / ovens / hoods/ fridges and sections are pulled apart and cleaned in fitting with the kitchen daily routine

Requirements for the position:
Keen attention to detail, focus, punctuality, and an ability to multitask while remaining focused on the execution of this role in a timely manner
