Nepean Solar Solutions, a local, family-owned and operated company specializing in the design, installation, monitoring, and maintenance of quality solar and battery storage systems, is seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Trade Assistant/Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic team.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the setup and preparation of solar equipment and tools on job sites
- Providing support to installation technicians during solar panel installations and maintenance jobs
- Ensuring a safe and organised work environment by adhering to safety protocols and keeping work areas clean
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed
- Participating in training sessions to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of solar energy systems

Although prior experience in solar is a plus, it is not necessary. Your demonstrated willingness and commitment to learn are valuable to us, and our team is prepared to provide training and support. However, some experience in the industry is desirable, and experience working on roofs is required.

The following are essential:

- White card
- Working at Heights Certification
- NSW Police Check
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in construction and installation
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions
- A willingness to learn and strengthen their skills
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and initiative
