An excellent opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated nursing leader to join the theatre team at a private hospital on the Gold Coast. It's a full-time position - permanent and Fixed Term Contract role available.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As an Operating Theatre Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

- Oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards;
- Support and liaise with the Nurse Unit Manager of the Perioperative department and wards;
- Ensure all theatres are staffed appropriately and cost-efficient;
- Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilization standards;
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Prior experience working in a Perioperative setting;
- Previous leadership or management experience highly regarded;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer-focused care;
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills;
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management.

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

Hospital, located on the Gold Coast, is an acute facility providing all acute medical and surgical services, paediatrics, obstetrics and cardiac. Hospital has 22 operating theatres and offers the highest standard of clinical expertise and nursing care.
