Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker with the skills and patience to support individuals with complex needs? Diligent Care is looking for a dedicated professional to provide one-on-one support for young adult participants with ASD-3, Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Epilepsy, Chronic Gut Pain, etc. These participants are **non-verbal** and exhibit **physical behaviours of concern**, including aggression towards self and others.
**About the Role**
This permanent position involves supporting the participants at our **day program and group home in Kenthurst, NSW and Rouse Hill, NSW** (and surrounding areas). **Day, evening and night shifts available 7 days a week.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing **personal care, toileting, transport, and companionship**.
- Supporting the participant in **daily activities and community outings**.
- Following and implementing the **Behaviour Support Plan** effectively.
- Documenting incidents, progress, and daily support activities accurately.
- Ensuring safety by using appropriate **restrictive practices** where required.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- **Experience with physical behaviours of concern**, including aggression.
- Understanding of **restrictive practices**:
- **Proficiency in English** for documentation and communication.
- Ability to follow structured support plans and work in a team.
- **Preferably a physically built, taller person**to match the participant’s support needs.

**About the Role**
We are seeking an energetic and professional **Promotional Relations Officer** to expand our reach by:
- Setting up meetings with potential clients, families, caregivers and organisations.
- Establishing partnerships with schools (including special schools), churches, and other disability service providers.
- Representing Diligent Care at community events, expos, and networking opportunities.
- Developing outreach strategies to increase awareness of our programs and services.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Excellent verbal and written English (first-language or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Experience in marketing, community engagement, or disability services is an advantage but not essential.
- Ideally a young, energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
- A passion for advocacy and supporting people with disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Future opportunity to manage social media presence
