NoosaCare is seeking an enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant or Diversional Therapist on a full/part-time or casual basis. You will be working in the beautiful Sunshine Coast and can achieve an amazing work life balance that will ensure you get to experience all the Sunshine Coast has to offer

**As diversional therapy team member at NoosaCare you will**:
The role of the diversional therapy team at NoosaCare is a highly important as it is the first point of contact for people as they arrive. This is an agile role that requires a diverse range of skills and abilities including:
- Develop lifestyle programs that support the needs and goals of individual residents.
- Undertake, one to one need assessment with residents and continuously revisit their assessments to ensure ongoing relevance to the residents needs and goals.
- Coordinate and guide volunteers how assist in the provision of activities.
- Work collaboratively with the Care team including Nurses and Personal Care staff.
- Undertaking planning, organising, implementing, and evaluating creative, person-centred programs to meet the holistic needs of our residents.
**Key Performance Indicators include (but are not limited to)**:
- Assess resident's social interests and capabilities and develop appropriate person-centred care plans and lifestyle programs for groups.
- Ensure that all residents can take part in programs of interest and that they can achieve their goals.
- Develop leisure and lifestyle resources that provide guidance for staff to implement suitable resident activities.
- Work collaboratively with care and clinical staff to ensure leisure and recreation is incorporated into day-to-day activities of residents.
- Review program content, sequence, and resource use to ensure activities meet resident's goals and outcomes.
- Maintain record keeping in the appropriate data base of individual and group lifestyle programs, including (but not limited to) date, times, attendance, and costs.
- Provide high quality service that supports and assists residents in achieving maximum independence.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality to all work practices including incidental information relating to residents.
- Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with all team members including volunteers.
**About you**:
- You will hold a minimum Cert IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or a Diploma/Degree in Diversional Therapy, or equivalent.
