Motion Designer

**How will I help?**

This role sits within our in-house agency and will be responsible for the delivery of 2D and 3D animations for producing advertising and content across all Westpac Group brands.
- Key Responsibilities Include: _
- Developing and delivering creative 2D and 3D animation projects across multiple brands, channels, connected campaigns, and executions efficiently and on-time with great creative flair, care and attention to detail
- Developing storyboards with great attention to the narrative, collaborating with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Designers to create the most impactful and connected work
- Conceptualising ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds, and other animation elements as well as developing timing and pacing of motion based on action, audio, or reading requirements
- Using your strong drawing and rendering skills, strength in creative storytelling, knowledge of colour theory and animation principles to create advertising and experiences that draws in viewers and keeps them engaged
- Fostering a learning environment by supporting other members of our creative services team to develop animation skills where they have interest and aptitude

**What do I need?**
- Proficiency in CGI software including Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects, Belnder, 3ds Max, Maya, etc
- Knowledge of the principles of animation such as staging, timing, anticipation, pacing, etc
- Excellent drawing and rendering skills across multiple styles
- Strong skills in modelling, texturing, and lighting
- Knowledge of colour theory
- Great collaborator who is comfortable presenting and explaining animations, storyboards, and designs
- Degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts, or another relevant field
