The Program Delivery Leader is accountable for the delivery of highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year international programmes and projects, to deliver key strategic initiatives for the organization within a specific portfolio. The incumbent will engage and consult with key C-Suite stakeholders, to drive change and transformation initiatives of strategic importance, including but not limited to M&A integrations, technology initiatives, location strategy, implementations and operational efficiency projects, within specified portfolios within the Pacific Change Program. The incumbent becomes a trusted advisor and helps facilitate timely decision making and trade-offs throughout all relevant stages. The role includes leading large change initiatives comprised of multi-disciplinary teams from across the business.
**Responsibilities;**
**Define and Execute portfolios within the Change Programme And/or Project Delivery Team**
- Accountable for overall programme scoping and delivery activity ensuring they follow defined standards and governance structures.
- Together with business leaders, work on scoping, defining, planning, prioritizing and executing strategic programmes of work.
- Lead delivery, ensuring appropriate governance and oversight of delivery, risks, issues and dependencies.
**Serve as a Trusted Advisor and Consultant**
- Serves as an expert in delivery and change management, assists business domains in defining the right approaches and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
- Actively engages and contributes as a member of the change management leadership team to share lessons learnt and improve methods and standards across the organisation.
- Reviews, mentors, Project Managers and other change professionals and support staff.
- Lead and be accountable, display behaviors aligned to company values that inspire others to follow.
**Communication, Change and Governance**
- Facilitate and build Change adoption for teams in scope.
- Provide transparent, factual visibility and communication of progress and points of escalation to key stakeholders including sponsors, work stream leaders, delivery teams and third party suppliers.
- Define and deliver C-Suite reporting, escalation paths. Build alignment across business leaders and verticals.
- Maintain robust business cases for the programs which are approved by Business Leaders and finance. Ensure there is continued business case justification throughout program and project delivery.
- Manage dependencies with other initiatives and negotiate resource requirements with Executive management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
**What you need to have**:
**Education**
- Master’s Degree or equivalent
**Experience**
- Previous demonstrable experience as a Program Director, Head of Change, Senior Program Manager leading large and complex programs across continents or regions.
- At least 10 years’ experience of complex and major program/project management gained in management consulting or equivalent sized business environments, preferably at a global scale.
- Experience in employee benefits business and solutions highly desirable, but not essential.
- Experience of managing and coordinating implementation with teams across different locations, dispersed globally, including off-shoring/near-shoring teams.
**Knowledge & Skills**
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills with ability and gravitas to operate and influence at C-Suite Leadership level.
