Storeperson

Our client are creators of sensational desserts that make people smile. There desserts are distributed nationally and internationally and our client's dessert is enjoyed every 3 seconds in Australia. You may not know it, but you have probably enjoyed one yourself at some point too.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage inventory in freezer storage environment
- Accurately pick and dispatch customer orders on time
- Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping and paperwork
- Comply with our clients Food Safety and Quality Program
- Ensure inventory is up to date and accurate in the computer system
- Manage stock in freezer and ensure that adequate space is available for production
- Book and liaise with transport companies
- Ensure con notes and PODs are printed and matched to stock
- Conduct a freezer stock take weekly and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure the freezer and dispatch area is kept clean and tidy

**OTHER FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Complete dispatch logs daily
- Book stock to be sent to off-site storage
- Re-palletize stock from previous day’s production
- Ensure all pallets are labelled correctly
- Work closely with Production & Packing room Team Leader & staff and provide assistance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Packing Room
- Cover Inwards Goods Store Person in their absence
- Assist with other warehouse functions as required

**INHERENT REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience working in freezer and cold environments
- Warehouse experience - preferably within the food industry
- Physically fit - able to lift 20kg
- Computer and RF scanning experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Ability to your work plan ahead
- Customer focused
- Experience with Ostendo operating system looked upon favourably

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
