Childcare Trainee

Illawarra Montessori Preschool is a privately owned preschool catering for 29 children aged from 2-6 years old. We are looking to employ a trainee educator with the ability to undergo study for Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

We have a wonderful team of dedicated educators who provide high quality learning opportunities for children on a daily basis. We use teamwork and positive relationships to maintain exceeding standards of care for children, with children’s wellbeing and learning outcomes being the highest priority. A team who will ensure you are supported and mentoring throughout you experience as a trainee.

This position is for our Berkeley preschool and will suit a high school leaver or someone who is looking for a career in Early childhood education. This opportunity will ensure you develop connections with the children, families and staff of the preschool while undergoing your studies.

**Requirements**:

- Must be over 18**
**- Willingness to obtain a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care**
**- Willingness to obtain a Working with Childrens Check**
**- Willingness to obtain First aid and CPR certificate**
**- MUST be double vaccinated for COIVD-19**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Full-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
