**Our Opportunity**

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their development? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Childcare Educator to join our team.

As a Childcare Educator, you will be responsible for supporting with creating and implementing engaging play-based learning activities for children ages 6 months to 5 years old. You will provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.

**Your role**
- Support in the planning and deliver of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
- Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
- Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and proceduresOur centre is located in Carrum on the main road of Patterson Lakes and close to surrounding suburbs Patterson Lakes, Bonbeach, Frankston and Seaford. Close to Public transport Located on main road in Patterson Lakes

We are a small centre with only 52 children and 3 classrooms, operating hours from 7:00am to 6:30pm with on-site parking and close to public transport. We have our own coffee machine to help start your day and love celebrating birthdays with our team and families as we are like one big family.

**Our Requirements**
- Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
