**Do you have a passion for working with children, and are excited to motivate and extend upon children’s interests and play?** Become a valuable team member at our service in Castle Hill. This large service provides opportunity to work with an engaging and supportive team.

As an educator, you will be on the floor with the children, before and after school, facilitating and running planned activities and involved in spontaneous play with the children that support their hobbies and interests. Having a ‘can do’ attitude is important in this role, as you will be committed to working hard and using your initiative to confidently engage with and support the children.

The school is committed to providing quality education that promotes the uniqueness and achievement of each individual. The school also has an established behaviour management framework that is shared across to the OSHC service. Permanent Part Time Positions

35 Hours per week - Mornings & Afternoons

Train to be a “Responsible Person”

PBS4L School - Positive Behaviour Support for Learning. A framework ensuring a consistent school wide positive approach to behaviour management across the school and OSHC service.

**About you**:
You have a passion for working with children.

You love to see children grow and develop in their own unique ways and gain joy from supporting this.

You can think outside the box and come up with creative ideas for activities.

You are a team player and a friendly and supportive team member.

You are open minded, confident, and flexible.

You possess a sound/working understanding of the NQF, NQS, and child protection legislation.

You are open to ongoing professional development and ongoing quality improvement.

**Desirable**: you have experience in OSHC / OOSH.

**Desirable**: CHCPRT001- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (1 day training).

**Preferred**: you possess a minimum Certificate 3 in Children’s Services or Equivalent.

**Must haves: Valid and current paid NSW Working with Children Check.**

**HLTAID004 / 012 **Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or
