Together we help in challenging boundaries. As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play an integral part of the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds. Services to be delivered to our consumers, include, but are not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, washing, hanging, ironing of clothes, making of beds and meal preparation. You may also be required to transport consumers in your own vehicle, provided you have full comprehensive insurance. **To be successful in this role you will need** - A background in general domestic cleaning duties - Experience in laundry services including washing, folding, sorting and ironing - Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment and machinery in-line with instructions - Able to follow procedures and ensure the clients’ personal preferences are adhered to - Confident communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families - Experience working within designated timeframes **You will also need to possess the following**: - Current First Aid Certificate and CPR, or willing to obtain one - NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Disability Services (Yellow Card Exemption) - Working with Children **Blue Card**: - National Police Check (undertaken within the last 2 years) - COVID-19 Vaccination (or approved exemption) - Possession of a current "C" class Drivers Licence is essential, with a good driving record. - Own vehicle with Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance - Evidence of your right to work in Australia MultiLink acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Custodians of this land on which we work. **Job Type**: Casual **Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Salary packaging Schedule: - Flexible hours Licence/Certification: - Blue Card (required) - Police Check (required) - NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Yellow Card (required) - Full Driver Licence (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required)
