Looking for an Accounts Receivable/ Collections officer for a 3-6 month assignment based just outside of Perth CBD.

PERSOLKELLY are working with a leading staffing provider of both contract and permanent recruitment. They are looking for an Accounts Receivable/ Collections officer for a 3-6 month assignment based just outside of Perth CBD.

**Working hours**: Full time hours

**Start Date**:ASAP

**Duration**:3-6 months (potential for permanency)

**Pay Rate**:$35-45/ hour (depending on experience)

**The Role**
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for collecting a large amount of customer debt. You will be dealing with multiple clients some of which are offshore to alert them that the invoices are overdue.

**Key Responsibilities**
- High volume debt collection from clients
- Contacting each client and providing them with overdue statements of money which is owed
- Entering and reviewing data into finance systems
- Reconciliations of vendor accounts
- Pulling statements and sending them across to clients
- Chase remittances and facilitate receipting
- Dealing with any pushback from clients/ account issues and escalating where necessary

**Skills and Experience**
- Ideally minimum 12 months in a similar role
- Very strong communication skills
- Experience dealing with payroll system Astute (desirable, NOT essential)
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident, friendly phone manner
- Ability to work as part of a cooperative team & willing to help others
- Excellent data entry skills and intermediate experience with Excel
