About iSwap:
iSwap is TP ICAP's award-winning electronic trading platform for OTC interest rate derivatives, providing advanced trading functionality across Dealer to Dealer and Dealer to Client markets in Interest Rate Swaps.

iSwap operates low latency, high-throughput exchange technology for clients including global investment banks and inter-dealer brokers.

Role Overview:
Role Responsibilities:

- Undertake testing and quality assurance projects in collaboration with key stakeholders and the iSwap development team
- Provide QA support for production issues when they arise, ensuring fixes are thoroughly tested and resolved before release
- Analyse detailed business requirements specifications to develop testing strategies that reduce the risk of system outages and identify system defects
- Interpret, execute and document complex functional / performance test scripts using agreed methods and standards
- Analyse and review test results, modify tests where necessary and provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues and recommendations for improvement
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, development & product teams to discuss test results and ensure that issues, problems and defects that arise during testing are resolved efficiently
- Ensure accurate records are maintained, and that responses to correspondence are timely and consistent
- Act as mentor to less experienced team members, providing guidance and expertise to assist with planning and prioritising of tasks
- Support and engage in the Nasdaq-TP ICAP migration project, providing technical support and assistance to migrate all relevant iSwap components from the Nasdaq environment to the TP ICAP environment

Experience / Competences:

- Thorough understanding of the iSwap Trading system, its functionality and associated components including Trading Engine, XFE, TW & FIX.
- Extensive experience of defining, executing and documenting test plans and test cases against i-Swap functional requirement specifications.
- Good understanding of the appropriate tools and technologies required to enable successful testing of the iSwap Trading system eg qtest, SQL, Linux
- General knowledge of electronic marketplaces and trade flows
- Good people skills and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely, to team members and internal and external stakeholders of all levels
- Must be self-motivated, setting a high level of professionalism and excellence
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Overall, should be confident, enthusiastic and proactive
