The Audit & Compliance Department of HCMO conduct a wide range of Risk Based Audits and handles compliance matters including compliance with Japanese version of SOX.

This position is based in Parramatta and requires travelling interstate to complete audit assignments by the set deadlines.

**Reporting to Regional Audit and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the following audit and compliance activities: -**
- Conduct audits as per approved Annual Audit Plan.
- Test samples as per audit procedures.
- Draft Audit Issues found.
- Evaluate evidences to complete Audit Tests
- Test design and effectiveness of internal controls for J-SOX Compliance
- Identify and assess risks in business processes and recommend controls to mitigate those risks

**To be successful in this role you will need:

- **
- Tertiary qualifications in Auditing and/or Accounting
- Experience of 3-5 years in Auditing
- Ability to understand business processes and IT systems
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Visio
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of Audit Management Software (Teammate) will be considered favorably
- Certification from Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Australia, is preferred.
