At Star Group, we work hard to ensure that our people are supported by their team and management to create an environment in which skills can develop for the benefit of our people, projects and the organisation. **Your new Role**: **Recruitment**: - Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process in conjunction with your manager and the hiring manager through the use of the applicant tracking system, standard recruiting and hiring practices and Star Group's policies, guidelines and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce. - Assist with facilitating, onboarding and maintaining apprentices, labour-hire, interns and trainees, ensuring compliance documentation such as agreements, risk assessments, and insurance are in place. - Undertake minimum wage reviews for both award and entry-level salary employees within Star Group. - Assist with competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain outstanding staff. Monitors best practices in compensation and benefits through research and up-to-date information on available products. - Participate in resourcing and recruitment planning meetings where requested. - Work closely and communicate with hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process (from requisition to onboarding) - Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization **General HR**: - Oversee the employee termination process - Complaints handling and investigations - Assist with payroll and benefits administration - HR Software Management and Administration (ConnX) - Training and Development Coordination - Conduct and assist with Disciplinary Action and Performance Reviews - Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities **Values Champion**: **The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking**: - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business and Human Resources or equivalent. - Previous experience seeking talent and assisting with onboarding processes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Well-organized and good attention to detail - Ability to make reasonable decisions. - Experience using applicant tracking software. - Excellent with prioritisation and time-management **The Rewards For Your Hard Work**: - 12 additional leave days (Leisure Days) per year - Part of a collaborative and inclusive team - We offer a serious commitment to personal development and career progression through ongoing training. - Participation in regular social (e.g., monthly BBQs), inclusion & diversity events (e.g., Harmony Day luncheon) and initiatives as well as charity events (e.g., Pink Ribbon Day) - Access to our Employee Assistance Programs - The ability to work in a collaborative, supportive team environment **And if you're not yet convinced...** "I have been with Star for over 15 years and have worked in multiple business divisions and countless projects across Sydney and NSW.
