**About the client**

Our Client is a 20-year established building mechanical contractor servicing large construction companies across the Melbourne Metropolitan area. They operate multiple projects consecutively and are considered for most construction projects across the Melbourne metro area.

**The Role**

This position will have you cross between locating materials in the Wherehouse, loading materials and delivering them to construction teams across the Melbourne metropolitan area. This is a great role which operates to the PPTEU calendar which see's you with 26 RDO's per year.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Managing deliveries in and out of the warehouse
- Deliveries to various job sites throughout Metro Melbourne and occasional Regional Victoria
- Forklift loading & unloading, and some manual handling will be required
- Liaising with Head Project Manager & individual Site Managers
- General warehouse and site labour when required
- General warehouse cleaning & maintenance

**Benefits**:

- Permanent Full Time Role
- From $35 - $45 per hour plus superannuation (based on experience)
- Approximately 40-45 hours per week Monday to Friday
- 26 x RDO’s per calendar year, dates per PPTEU calendar (standard 40 hour week paid at 36 hours to account for RDO accrual, any extra hours paid at base hourly rate)

**Requirements**:

- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Medium Rigid Truck Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Good communication skills
- Time management skills
- Clean driving record
- Sound mechanical aptitude
- Punctuality
- Australian residents only

**Other notes / information relating to the role / what we are looking for**:

- We are looking for someone well presented
- We are ideally looking for someone that has experience in the construction industry
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Must be reliable, courteous, and have a positive, easy-going personality to fit into the team
- Must be punctual, this is highly important.
- Must have good communication skills and be proactive. Eg. stay in contact with the Site Managers prior to delivering to site, check if they need anything else while they are on the way to their site
- Be a courteous driver, respect other drivers on the road, obey road rules
- Show respect for, and keep equipment clean
- Fleet that the driver would be operating ranges from Utes, Sprinter Tray Truck, and Medium Rigid Tray Truck and Trailers
