**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead and supervise a team of pipelayers and labourers on-site.**
**- **Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure all installations meet project specifications.**
**- **Oversee trenching operations, pipe alignment, and the installation of PVC, HDPE and concrete pipe systems.**
**- **Maintain high safety, environmental, and quality standards in daily site operations.**
**- **Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to ensure efficient progress.**
**- **Keep accurate records and contribute to daily reporting and productivity tracking.**
**- **Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability within the crew.**

- **Minimum 3 years recent experience in a similar role within civil construction.**
**- **Proven background in installing sewer, water mains, and stormwater infrastructure.**
**- **Solid understanding of safety and compliance protocols.**
**- **Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.**
**- **Strong work ethic, reliable, and positive attitude.**
**- **Willingness to work in dynamic and outdoor environments.**

**Must-Have Qualifications**
- **Construction Induction Card -White/Blue Card**
**- **SA Water Accredited Pipelayer (or equivalent)**

**Desirable Qualifications**
- **RIICCM210D - Install Trench Support**
**- **Confined Spaces Ticket**
**- **First Aid & CPR Certification**
**- **Implement Traffic Management Certificate**
**- **Load Slinging Competency**
