Quality Assurance Supervisor

Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be ensuring all documentation is completed as required, GMP and performing QA / QC tasks as well as conducting internal audits, you will update and maintain the food safety systems and ensure labelling is in accordance with legislative requirements. You will also be responsible for training of staff in hygiene and food safety.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement and maintain the HACCP based food safety plan
- Ensure all requirements of the quality management system are implemented and maintained for continuous improvement
- Maintain ISO 9001, and Sci-Qual HACCP quality system accreditation
- Audit suppliers where deemed necessary to ensure supply is satisfactory to Denco Trading’s quality and food safety requirements
- Ensure the manufacturing environment is compliant with food safety legislative and statutory requirements
- Approve and implement all quality system requirements
- Approve and implement procedures, policies and prerequisite programs
We are ideally looking for a tertiary qualified person with a solid QA lab testing and production data capture experience in a food manufacturing facility for a minimum of 3 years. In-depth knowledge of HACCP is prerequisite.
