Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.

John Holland is GoldlinQ's recommended design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7 kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.

Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education, and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast’s expected population growth in the coming decades.

**We're Hiring**:
We’re now recruiting for experienced **Civil Supervisors** to join the GCLR Stage 3 team and play a key role in the successful delivery this iconic Queensland project.

The roles key accountabilities will include but not be limited to;
- Managing scope of works to ensure site-based activities are planned and delivered in advance of their target date, providing smart, safe construction solutions.
- Ensure all site works are planned and delivered in compliance with required technical specifications, relevant legislation, approvals and standards and deed obligations.
- Management of subcontractors.
- Night shifts as required
- Ensuring that positive relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders are developed.
- An absolute commitment to Safety, ensuring OH&S requirements and risk controls are considered in all construction planning and processes.

- Must be able to work nightshifts as required
- A commitment to excellence and high-performance in a ‘right first time’ environment
- Appreciation of the importance of ‘One Team’ understanding the importance of partnering with project support teams such as Safety, Quality, Community and Environment.
- Ability to engage with and communicate at all levels driving positive outcomes
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Show an appreciation of commercial issues and understanding of always representing the project’s best interests.
