Counsellor

**Responsibilities**:
Smile Supports is seeking a new/experienced Counsellor to join our NDIS program.

This is a part time or casual position with potential to become a full time position.

Duties

To provide high quality, trauma informed,time framed, relationship, family counselling for individuals, couples, and families. This role is integral to our team and will be supporting clients by providing counselling in person, telehealth and groupwork.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in counselling,Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, or professionally related disciplines.
- Experience in various forms of counselling, with demonstrated knowledge and experience in therapeutic frameworks. (desirable but not required)
- Experience in group work facilitation with ability to plan, deliver and evaluate. (desirable but not required)
- Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
- NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check.
- Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’.

Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $65.00 - $100.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Campbellfield VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Counselling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- AHPRA registration or Relevant Board registration (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
