**About the Role**

We are currently hiring experienced Grounds People to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. If you have a passion for working with plants, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow in the horticultural industry, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**

As an essential part of our team, you will bring your experience and passion for gardening to a range of duties aimed at maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty of the grounds. Your role will include, but not be limited to:

- Assist with garden maintenance tasks: hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching
- Operation of various horticultural machinery: blowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, push mowers and ride-on mowers
- General gardening tasks: weed identification and treatment, pest and disease management, planting, garden bed maintenance and plant nutrition
- Removal of garden waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members

**About You**
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid Driver's Licence, manual is an advantage
- White Card
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
