Vehicle Accessory Fitter

With more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.

**The Position**

We are currently seeking a motoring enthusiasts to fit (or strip) a range of accessories and equipment in our client's cars. Ideally suited to someone who is either mechanically or electrically minded and has experience working on machinery or technical devices. **If you are willing and eager to learn, we have the means to provide training and support to enable your success**

**What you will do**:

- Reassemble and disassemble vehicle parts in accordance with documented procedures and processes
- Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability
- Any ad hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by management
- Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned in accordance with documented processes and procedures
- Vehicle fitment (or removal) of accessories and equipment
- Inspection and survey of vehicles to validate completion
- Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
- Ensure that good housekeeping practices are observed
- Ensure that vehicles are parked in compliance with customer needs
- When required remove PVC protective sheeting from vehicles
- Wash the vehicles to remove dust & dirt using the prescribed tooling & materials
- Fit compliance plate to the vehicle having firstly checked that data is same as paperwork for vehicle
- Re-charge batteries of vehicles after designated storage period or if batteries are in run down state
- Use test equipment such as tyre gauges, torque wrenches etc
- Ensuring vehicles are processed safely, securely and without damage

**What you will bring**:

- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Experience in vehicle accessory fitments, beneficial but not mandatory
- Mechanical/ electrical aptitude an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to lift/handle automotive parts (sports bars, bumper bars etc)
- Strong attention to detail & safety-first mindset
- Reliable and a dedicated person with drive and energy
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in vehicle accessory fitments beneficial
