We have an exciting opportunity within the Cyber Threat Intelligence team within our Information Security Group’s Detection and Response group. Our team provides tactical, operational and strategic threat intelligence to support our business.

**How will I help?**

We are looking for a seasoned Cyber Threat Intelligence professional to be part of our team, performing analysis of sophisticated adversarial threat actors and campaigns that may pose a threat to Westpac and our stakeholders.

You will be able to execute intelligence analysis, using your analytic judgement, investigative mindset and sound writing skills to be successful in this often fast-paced environment.

In this role, your responsibilities may include:

- Producing clear and concise analytic products on cyber threats, including situation reports and analyst reports
- Identifying, analysing and delivering short-turnaround assessments on emerging cyber threat issues
- Providing briefs or presentations on cyber threat actors
- Maintaining a situational awareness of contemporary and developing threats in the Asia-Pacific region
- Collaborating with other teams across the Information Security Group
- Contributing or participating in industry or government cyber security initiatives

**What do I need?**

Some of your key skills and experiences would include:

- Good written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
- Sound research, critical thinking and analysis skills (with formal training a bonus)
- Awareness of major cyber threats in the global landscape
- Interest in cyber security or technology, and a drive to research and learn

Any Tertiary education in this related field would be advantageous.
