**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Due to exponential growth, we have an exciting and highly engaging opportunity ideal for a Treasury Manager looking to be part of a Treasury team to play a crucial role in managing and growing our ~$3 billion of debt capital and ~20 lending relationships to support Scape’s portfolio of existing operating assets and a strong pipeline of new developments.

As Treasury Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of treasury, including negotiating documents, building, and maintaining relationships with new and existing lenders, executing risk management strategies, be involved in the implementation of a new Treasury Management System, and assist with day-to-day treasury operations. Working closely with our Treasurer, you will be involved in arranging debt financing for developments and operating assets, enhance processes to ensure compliance with our borrowing facilities and serve as a key contact point within the business for all debt-related matters, collaborating with our finance, investment management and sales teams.

In addition, as our Treasury Manager, you will have exposure to our global investors as our projects emerge from concept and development through to world-class operating assets. You will be contributing to creating an aspirational and inspiring environment for students and staff alike.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

To be successful in this role, you will thrive in fast paced environments with prior treasury management and/or corporate banking experience. You should be confident in negotiating loan documents, managing lending relationships, and ensuring compliance with borrowing facilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Banking and/or Treasury with qualifications such as CFA, CA, CPA, or Masters in Finance.
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking, especially in real estate and construction lending.
- Prior experience with Treasury Management Systems preferred, implementation of a TMS desirable
- Experience with interest rate risk management and derivative products preferred.
- Articulate and skilled in dealing with key external relationships and internal stakeholders.
- Credible, confident, and willing to contribute ideas in dealings with directors, investors, and senior representatives of lenders.
- Willing to invest time in learning the business and building peer relationships throughout the organization.
