Bookkeeper

We are seeking a dynamic Bookkeeper to join the Open for Trading team in Adelaide, which is parent company to BBQ Adelaide, Solomon’s flooring and Luxaflex Blinds. If you are looking for a fresh start this year and able to work autonomously then this role would be ideal for you.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for a broad range of Bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to:

- Accounts receivable/payable
- Prepare Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets using Xero.
- End to end payroll processing and reconciliations including superannuation, and WorkCover
- Documenting and implementing systems to find efficiencies in bookkeeping processes
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Must have strong experience In Xero
- Excel, Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skill

**Desirable**
- Experience with add ons/ apps to streamline data entry procedures such as Dext, Deputy, and Retail Express.
- Experience with Awards and the interaction between minimum wages and classifications
- Diploma qualification in Finance or similar

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
- XERO: 2 years (required)
